Dr Karin Hallgren is a private dentist with over 30 years experience. From the beginning she had the advantage of learing from the best. In the 70s she learnt how to prevent and treat gum disease from Professor Jan Lindhe, in the 80s she learnt cosmetic dentistry with natural looking crowns from Dr Sverker Toreskog and in the 90s implantology by Professor Hilt Tatum.
Karin qualified at Karolinska in Stockholm and shared her time between private practice and teaching at the dental school as well as working in their specialist clinic. Karin is passionate about helping patients into routines that prevent bad breath, gum disease and tooth decay as well as beautiful solutions to mouths that need major reconstruction. Implants have now become invaluable for replacement of missing teeth and stabilising previously wobbly dentures.
At Hallgren Clinic, there is no such thing as a standard solution. Karin listens to what her patients want and together they decide the best way forward. 'I will help you to help yourself' has always been her motto, both with regard to her patients and also to her four children who are moving into adulthood, each taking their own individual successful route.
